"Our children hosted a 40th anniversary party for us last weekend at your lovely Inn ... Our party memories will be in our hearts forever, thank you for your part in them! " ...Judi
The barn has been the venue for several art shows featuring local well-known artists.
Our fully-restored 1880's barn is available for groups to hold functions of any kind. The barn contains 4000' of dry open space with French-grade Belgian block and grande slate throughout the first floor.
The barn is well-lit, contains a restored well and is dry to the weather for all seasons.
The front part of our barn dates back to the original Schwachhamer homestead of the 1700's. It was later expanded to house a full stable of draft horses as a working farm building.
The upper level contains a hay clam, a cupola with stained glass panels by noted craftsman John Asdal, and fascinating exposed structural timbers.
Stroll back into history as you imagine life in the valley over 250 years ago.

Solar panels on the western roof provide energy to power the Inn and the innkeeper's cottage.
The barn can accommodate up to 100 guests, depending on the type of event and table layout. A cozy country setting and a relaxed atmosphere could be the perfect venue for your next event.
